Is It My Imagination? (How to Trust the Messages You Receive)

This is the ego’s way of distracting you from hearing the messages of your angels and the guidance of your Heavenly Father. Your intuition is your connection with the Divine – it is the channel through which the Universe speaks to you. Unfortunately, as we get older, and become more conditioned by society, we start losing our ability to connect with the Divine.

How to Connect with your Guides?

Just like the moon gets reflected in a clear lake when the waters are still, the Divine is reflected in our minds and our hearts when we are completely calm. You must develop a daily meditation practice in order to quiet the incessant noise of your mind. Also, whenever you get time, be sure to connect with your breath. Develop the habit of inhaling and exhaling deeply. This has an instant calming effect on the mind. As you become calmer, your mind starts becoming like an empty vessel ready to receive and hold the wisdom of the Divine.

Once you start feeling calm and centered, intend to become connected with your Guides. Ask to receive guidance or if you have a question in your mind seek to get it answered. You must trust that the only thing you need in order to connect with your guides is the intention to do so. The moment you set the intention to be connected, you get immediately connected. The ego will compel you to doubt this but you must not listen to the voice of the ego at its schemes and devices are meant to keep you trapped in a web of illusions.
To let God in, you have to let go of the ego.

Listen to Your Heart

Whenever you are in doubt, listen to what your heart says. The knowledge that your heart has is always far superior to anything that your mind can know. Logic can take you so far but intuition can create miracles.

If amidst the clamor of your mind, you can’t distinguish the voice of the mind from the voice of your heart, you need to take a few moments to breathe deeply. As you connect with your breath, ask your heart what it has to say about the situation or the person at hand. Listen to the first answer that comes out because that is often the right answer.

The Pineal Gland

Enlightened masters have known for centuries that the pineal gland is the seat of all wisdom. When the pineal gland is awakened, our intuitive abilities are at their peak. Unfortunately, in our modern times, most people’s pineal glands have become calcified. If you want to stay connected with the Divine and His angels, then you must make an effort to decalcify the pineal gland. This implies not using fluoridated toothpaste or water, avoiding all processed food and other eatables with food color and additives. You must also exercise daily, stay from alcohol and other narcotics. Ideally, you should also adopt the practice of yoga and pranayama.

Most importantly, listen to your heart even when your mind says not to. Never forget that the wisdom of the heart is far superior to the logic of the mind.

5 Tips to Enhance Your Meditation

If you’re thinking about meditating, however, you should follow these tips for an easier and more productive session.

Maintain a Positive Mindset

Meditation refers to a broad range of practices that are designed to reduce stress, increase energy, and develop a greater love, patience and compassion for others. Therefore, it’s essential that you maintain a positive mindset throughout the process. If you are stressed about work, finances or a relationship, it may negatively impact your meditation sessions. Learn to block out these negative thoughts while meditating, focusing on your inner chakra instead.

Meditate in a Distraction-Free Environment

It’s difficult to mediate when you’re constantly being distracted by outside elements. Whether it’s the television, radio, phone, etc., these things can make it difficult to concentrate, reducing the effectiveness of your sessions. So if you’re planning to meditate, find a quiet, distraction-free environment. Some people prefer to mediate at night for this very reason, as there’s fewer distractions during the night as opposed to the day.

Pre-Meditation Stretching

Many experts recommend performing a light stretching exercise before you meditate. The purpose of this is to improve flexibility and stimulate blood flow throughout the body. You don’t have to spend half an hour stretching, but rather spend a couple of minutes tilting your body forwards, backwards and from side to side.

Control Your Breathing

The secret to a productive meditation session lies in the breathing technique. Meditation is all about relaxing the body and mind — something that’s directly impacted by breathing. When meditating, take slow, deep breaths. This will slow your heart rate while allowing your body to relax. The great thing about deep-breathing exercises such as this is that you can perform them virtually anywhere, anytime.

Stimulate Your Senses

Contrary to what some people may believe, you don’t necessarily have to block out your surrounding environment when meditating. In fact, you can actually use your environment to your advantage by allowing it to further relax your body and mind. Burning scented candles or incense, for instance, may create a pleasing aroma that helps you relax. You can also play some soothing music, such as nature sounds, to enhance your meditation sessions and promote greater relaxation.

This event may have already occurred, it may be occurring, or it may occur at some point in the future. Regardless, a Tarot reading reveals the energy about a particular situation.

During a Tarot reading, the client’s life force is imprinted on the cards, as the cards capture his or her energy levels as they correspond to the event. Reversed Tarot cards are unique because they have a contrasting meaning when compared to normal, upright cards.

Reversed Cards: What You Should Know

When Tarot cards are upright, it represents free-flowing energy, which is a good thing! Energy that’s allowed to flow freely and unrestricted promotes good health and well-being. But when energy becomes stagnant, it can lead to negative forces. Reversed cards are indicative of either negative energy or energy that’s not developed to its fullest extent. 4 Ways to Increase Your Clairvoyant Abilities

Clairvoyance is an innate ability that every man and woman possesses. Derived from the French language with clair meaning clear and voyance meaning vision, it allows the individual to uncover information about another person, place or object using extrasensory perception (ESP). But unless you’ve mastered the art of clairvoyance and understand its principles, you won’t be able to use it for this purpose. So, what steps can you take to increase your clairvoyant abilities?

Believe You Can

You aren’t going to effectively use clairvoyant abilities unless you stay positive and believe that you can. This is among the biggest hurdles that newcomers face, as they are skeptical of whether or not it works. If you have doubts about clairvoyance, your conscience won’t be able to overcome this obstacle, resulting ineffective or obsolete clairvoyant abilities.

Create Visual Images

When trying to a read a person or object using clairvoyance, create visual images in your head. If someone is asking you about their future, for instance, try to picture that person in the future.  What are they doing? Where are they located? Are they confronted with danger? These are all questions that you should attempt to answer when creating visual images using clairvoyance.

Keep a Journal

Why should you keep a journal when experimenting with clairvoyance? Well, you may only see bits and pieces of an image or scene, at which point you’ll have to piece them together like a puzzle. Unless you keep a journal of everything you see and experience, you may forget some of these images. And trying to complete a puzzle without all of the pieces is virtually impossible. So, make a note of all images, people, scenes, sounds, scents, etc. that you see in your clairvoyance visions. You can then attempt to piece the puzzle together, drawing a correlation between the different elements to determine what they all mean.

Open Your ‘Third Eye’

Many clairvoyance rely on their “third eye” to guide their visions. Also known as the inner eye, this is the brow chakra found directly between the eyes. It’s believed to provide energy for spiritual reflection and meditation, making it a critical tool in the practice of clairvoyance and psychic readings. Close your eyes and focus your attention on this area (brow chakra), channeling your energy here. As energy begins to build around the third eye, you’ll experience a sense of enlightenment that bolsters your clairvoyant abilities.

The truth is that everyone will experience psychological stress at some point in their life. It’s a normal reaction to our body’s flight-or-fight response, which is designed to keep us safe from danger. How to Lower Your Stress

The good news is that you can lower your stress levels through personal growth and development techniques, one of which is meditation. Some people assume that meditation requires extensive training and practice, but this isn’t the case. Just post up in a quiet, distraction-free environment, and perform deep breathing exercises while maintaining control of your thoughts. The secret to a successful and productive meditation session is to control your thoughts, preventing your mind from wandering off. The easiest way to accomplish this is to focus on a central element, such as a beach, your childhood home, a family member whom you’ve lost, etc.

According to an article published by the Washington Post, meditation eases stress and anxiety by literally changing the way in which your brain works. When comparing the brain scans of people who’ve meditated against people who haven’t meditated, there was some striking differences between the two. It’s unclear how exactly meditation is able to change the brain, but the general consensus among medical professionals is that it works. There are of course other ways to reduce and manage the stress in your life.

Your perspective on life will also play a role in your stress levels. If you focus on the negative aspects of your life, you’ll experience higher levels of stress and anxiety and may find that stress can cause physical challenges. It’s just that simple. So, try to retrain your brain to focus on the positive, uplifting elements of your life. When you wake up in the morning, shift your thoughts to something positive, telling yourself why you are a good person and how you will accomplish great things. By doing this day after day, your brain will become hardwired to stay positive.

Of course, you should also reevaluate your diet, basing your meals around fresh foods instead of processed snacks. We live in a society that’s stuck in the mindset of choosing convenience over nutrition, with many people eating fast food and other highly processed foods on a daily basis. There’s nothing wrong with an occasional favorite food that might not be top of the health food list, but it shouldn’t be the main source of your nutrition. Too much processed food will only bog down your body and mind, increasing stress levels.

What is a Chakra? [Get the Facts]

When researching spiritual growth and development, you may come across something known as a chakra. Cultures throughout the world recognize chakras, using them for spiritual and religious purposes. But what exactly is a chakra? This is one of the many questions that we’re going to answer today.

Chakras: the Basics

A chakra is believed to be a metaphysical energy point within the body.  According to Indian religion, they serve as meeting points of energy channels known as nadi. Our bodies have an active life force flowing through them at all times. The pathways through which this life/energy force flows is nadi, whereas the connecting points are chakras.

Chakras are often used in conjunction with massage therapy, acupuncture, acupressure, and other forms of traditional medicine to treat and/or prevent illness. If you are feeling sad, depressed or experiencing emotional anxiety, for instance, targeting the solar plexus chakra may offer relief. Typically recognized as being directly above the stomach, the solar plexus chakra has been proven effective in treating emotional disorders.

Where Chakras are Located

If you asked ten different practitioners where the chakras are located, you would probably get ten different answers. That’s because every school has its own belief system regarding the use of chakras. Subsequently, this often leads to confusion regarding which areas to target for the best resolutions. If you are suffering from fatigue, for instance, one school may recommend targeting one chakra, whereas another school recommends targeting a different chakra.

Although there’s no universal system in place for identifying and utilizing chakras, the seven most common and widespread chakras consist of the following:

Why Chakras are Important

Chakras are important because they represent our body’s life/energy force. When this invisible force becomes trapped, the point of conflict must be stimulated to restore it back to its working order. Failure to correct blockages of life force can leave us susceptible to disease and illness, ranging from the common cold virus to more serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses. Chakras represent the points on the body where these blockages occur. Therefore, by identifying these areas you can correct blockages of life force to promote better health and wellness.

How to Improve Your Aura Energy

Although invisible to the naked eye, every man, woman and child has an invisible force surrounding their bodies. Known as an aura, it’s believed to play an important role in our health and well-being. When our aura energy subsides, we are less protected against disease and illness. When our aura is strong, on the other hand, we are more protected against adverse conditions. So, what can you do to strengthen the energy of your aura?

Soak in the Sun

The sun’s powerful UV rays can strengthen your aura, supplementing your body with much-needed vitamin D while reinvigorating your cells. A good rule of thumb is to strive for 30 minutes of sun exposure per day. Keep in mind, however, that too much sun exposure can be bad for your health, promoting fine lines, early aging, and even increasing your risk of melanoma. Stick with 30 minutes per day for maximum benefit to your aura.  If you can’t get enough sun depending on where you live or the season, then consider taking a Vitamin D supplement.

Avoid Processed Foods

Humans have evolved over the course of tens of thousands of years, during which we’ve consumed natural foods like fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. It wasn’t until this past century, however, when our diets began to shift towards more processed foods — with a particular focus on grains. There’s nothing wrong with an occasional processed snack, but if the bulk of your diet is processed foods, it may weaken your aura. These foods will make you feel “full” afterwards, but they don’t offer any real vitamins or nutrition, thus weakening nearly every system in your body — including your aura.


Among the most damaging elements to a person’s aura field is stress. When you experience psychological stress, your body weakens and becomes more susceptible to illness. Unfortunately, though, stress is something that everyone will experience during their lives, some more frequently than others. While there’s no way to completely avoid stress, there are ways to reduce it. Here are some simple tips to reduce stress and promote a stronger aura:

Salt Bath

We’ve talked about the benefits of salt before on our blog, but it’s worth mentioning again that this naturally occurring mineral can increase levels of positive energy. If you’re looking to improve your aura energy, try taking a warm bath with one cup of sea salt added. The salt will stimulate your aura while cleansing your skin in the process.
