The Collaboration Tarot Reading
Every meaningful project begins with a question that is easy to overlook in the excitement of a new idea: Is this the right partnership?
Collaboration has the power to multiply what a single person can create alone — to bring complementary strengths together, divide the weight of the work, and produce something neither party could have built independently. But not every partnership is the right one. Not every project is worth the investment. And not every exciting beginning leads to a fulfilling or sustainable outcome.
The Collaboration tarot spread was designed to help you see clearly before you commit.
Whether you are considering a business partnership, a creative project, a professional venture, or any undertaking that involves joining forces with another person, this reading offers an honest look at the energy surrounding that collaboration. It explores whether the project itself carries genuine potential, whether the partnership is built on compatible strengths and aligned intentions, what challenges may arise along the way and how significant they are likely to be, and whether your effort and investment are likely to produce the outcome you are hoping for.
This is not a reading that simply tells you whether to say yes or no. It illuminates the fuller picture — the realistic potential alongside the genuine risks — so that whatever decision you make, you make it with clear eyes and genuine understanding rather than excitement alone.
Rev. Sheri of Angel Messenger has always believed that the most successful collaborations are grounded in honest assessment from the very beginning. Enthusiasm is essential — but wisdom is what sustains a project through the inevitable difficulties that arise between a promising idea and a meaningful result. This reading offers both.
Take a moment before you begin to hold the project and the partnership clearly in your mind. Bring your honest hopes and your honest concerns equally. Then let the cards offer the perspective that is hardest to find when you are standing inside the excitement of something new.

Frequently Asked Questions — Collaboration Tarot Reading
What is the Collaboration tarot spread? The Collaboration spread is designed to help you evaluate a potential project or partnership before you commit to it. It explores the genuine potential of the project, the compatibility and fit of the people involved, the challenges most likely to arise, and whether your effort and investment are likely to produce a meaningful and worthwhile outcome.
What kind of collaborations can this reading be used for? This spread works for any significant joint undertaking — a business partnership, a creative project, a professional venture, a community initiative, or any situation where you are considering combining your efforts with one or more other people toward a shared goal. The cards speak to the energy of the collaboration regardless of the specific context.
What if I am excited about the project but the cards show challenges? Challenges in a collaboration reading do not mean the project is doomed — they mean there are things worth paying attention to before you begin. Some of the most successful partnerships navigate real difficulties precisely because they saw them coming and prepared accordingly. Use what the cards surface as a roadmap for honest conversation and thoughtful planning rather than a reason to abandon something with genuine potential.
Can I use this reading if the collaboration has already started? Yes — while this spread is most naturally used before committing to a project, it works equally well for collaborations already underway. If something feels off, if momentum has stalled, or if you want a clearer picture of where things are headed, the cards can offer useful perspective on what is happening and what might help.
What if my potential partner does not believe in tarot? Your partner does not need to participate in or believe in the reading for it to be valuable to you. The spread speaks to the energy and dynamics of the collaboration as you understand them — which is genuinely useful insight regardless of whether your partner is involved in the process.
How is this different from the Decision or Two-Choices spread? The Decision and Two-Choices spreads are designed for broader decision-making — weighing options and finding clarity on a path forward. The Collaboration spread is specifically focused on the dynamics of a joint project or partnership — the fit between the people involved, the potential of the work itself, and the realistic likelihood of a successful outcome. If you are trying to decide whether to take on a collaboration at all, doing both readings can offer a very complete picture.

About These Free Tarot Card Readings
Every reading on this site was created with a single intention — to meet you exactly where you are.
The cards are drawn at random from Rev. Sheri’s curated collection of ten carefully chosen tarot decks, upright or reversed, just as they would appear in a real reading. There are no predetermined outcomes and no fixed answers — only the guidance that arrives when you bring an honest question and an open heart.
Rev. Sheri built these tools as an extension of her work at Angel Messenger, where she and her team have been offering free spiritual guidance since 2003. The same values that guide Angel Messenger guide every reading here: compassion over fear, presence over performance, and the belief that genuine spiritual support should be available to anyone who seeks it — freely and without barrier.
